EMER-G-MED Emer-G-Med is an Advanced Life Support pre-hospital emergency medical service which operates in the City of Johannesburg, Ekurhuleni and Tshwane, Gauteng.
This morning at 07:39 EMER-G-MED’s RV6, M03 and A01 were dispatched to reports of a collision involving a motorbike on the N1 North just after Malibongwe Drive in Sharonlea.
Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a motorbike had rear-ended a car, allegedly after the driver swerved into the right hand shoulder. The biker was found lying in the shoulder, having sustained serious injuries – including a broken pelvis.
Paramedics stabilised the seriously injured motorcyclist on the scene, before transporting him to Netcare Sunninghill Hospital under Advanced Life Support care.
JMPD were on-scene to investigate.
