Paramedics were called out to a Fatal Crash involving a motorcycle and a bakkie on the corners of Okavango Road and Tanners Street, Brackenfell. The crash occurred around 00h20 last night.
When Paramedics arrived on the scene, they found that 1 patient, the biker, already succembed to his fatal injuries. He was declared dead on the scene. Another 3 patients were transported to hospital after 1 was extricated using jaws of life.
Allegedly the bakkie did not stop at the red robot when the biker crashed into the bakkie on the passenger side. According to an eye witness, who choose to stay anonymous, said that the biker hit the bakkie and was driving at an extreme high speed. Local authorities were on scene for further investigation.
