Taxi Believed To Have No Headlights, T-Boned A Golf On The R511 In Diepsloot Last Night

TAXI BELIEVED TO HAVE NO HEADLIGHTS, T-BONED A GOLF ON THE R511 IN DIEPSLOOT LAST NIGHT


Last night just after 7pm EMER-G-MED's RV6 and A01 responded to reports of a serious collision on the R511 just before Mnandi Road, in Diepsloot.

On arrival paramedics found that a car had turned been T-boned by a taxi, which allegedly had no headlights on.

The passenger of the car was found to have sustained moderate injuries, and required Advanced Life Support intervention.

EMER-G-MED paramedics treated the patient on-scene before she was transported to a nearby hospital for further care. The driver of the car was uninjured.

The driver, and only occupant if the taxi, absconded the scene. JMPD were on the scene to conduct the relevant investigations
