Purpose:
To provide personal and general administrative support to management and the company through conducting and organising administrative duties and activities including receiving and handling information

Qualifications:

Essential:
• Grade 12

Desirable:
• Administrative Diploma/Degree will be advantageous

Experience:

Essential:
•Two/three years in a secretarial role - must have performed duties relating to producing correspondence / documents and information and communication management.
• Administrative experience in projects
•Retail experience

Desirable:
• Legal and/or business management experience in dealing with projects would be advantageous

Knowledge:
• Knowledge of document preparation principles (e.g.: formatting of documents etc.)
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
• Intermediate skills in MS Office applications (Word; Excel; Powerpoint)

Skills:
• Good verbal and written communication
• Computer literacy
• Interpersonal skills
• Administrative skills
• Planning and organizing abilities
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans

Job objectives:
• Prepare, minute and distribute correspondence, reports and documents
• Co-ordinate meeting and conferences
• Co-ordinate travel arrangements (e.g.: flights, accommodation etc.)
• Perform general administrative duties (e.g.: photocopying, filing etc.)
• Organize social events within the department
• Handle incoming telephone calls, mail and other materials
• Maintain staff details for Health and Safety databases
• Bulk gift card order receiving and processing
• End-to-end management of small financial services products (product management; vendor relations and reporting)
