CORE TITLE: HEALTH ASSOCIATED SCIENCES AND SUPPORT PERSONNEL

Minimum educational qualification: General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/Grade 9 (STD 7).
Experience: Supervision experience. Experience in booking and co-ordination of venues or conference centres.
Inherent requirement of the job: Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge of inventory/stock control and disciplinary code of conduct. Knowledge of safety and hygiene standards. Ability to work in a team context and independently.
Duties (key result areas/outputs): Responsible for overall control, organising, performing and co-ordinating of tasks related to food, linen and hygiene services. Support to Household Aid and supervision of subordinates. Responsible for record-keeping and compilation of reports. Coordinate the provision of effective training appropriate to service delivery. Effective management with regard to ordering, utilisation, control of cleaning, household items and equipment. Liaise with private catering companies, co-ordinators of events and oversee nurses hostel and basic contract management.
