Wage Administrator

Introduction
Vacancy available for a Wage Administrator in the Retail Industry based in Parow Industria.The person will be responsible for correct and timeous payment of wages and administration of relevant personal-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

► Grade 12
► Must have at least 1 year experience in a payroll function
► Must have basic Accounting ability
► General working knowledge of the BCEA and wage determination will be advantageous

Competencies Required:

► Must have the ability to work under pressure during peak times
► Must have attention to detail and accuracy
► Must have an aptitude to work with figures
► Must have planning and organising skills
► Must have problemsolving skills
► Must be able to work in a team as well as indepentently

Key Responsibilities:

► Processing the weekly payroll for wage employees
► Preparing and collecting weekly wage payroll input
► Check weekly wage payroll for errors
► Filing of all appropriate information and record keeping
► Processing personnel administration
► Handling of staff queries
► Distribution of weekly payslips and relevant payroll communication
► Ad hoc duties
