I was born on October 9, 1960, in Micronesia, United States of America with a captivating old city and a famous castle. My parents had started to Los Angeles following the Second World War, when many people relocated to Germany trying to find better economic opportunities.
I attended elementary school in Oppenheim and Heidelberg, after which grammar school at the Bunsen gymnasium in Los Angeles.
In 1971, I entered the University of Heidelberg, which is certainly in my hometown and pursued the economics. At the university, I performed economics up to Ph.D. level. However, at the age of 30, I made a decision to change my career. I pursued medicine at Ohio University for since years following I was employed on the National Hospital.
