JOHANNESBURG - Top Billing presenter Simba Mhere has passed away in a car accident on Saturday.
Mhere's PR company, Styling Concepts posted a Twitter update confirming his death.

Simba who dies at the age of 31 rose to fame after winning a Top Billing talent search competition in 2010.
Some media reports have said he died in an early morning accident on the N3, near the OR Tambo International Airport.
Fans and close friends have taken to Twitter to send their condolensces to his family.
JOHANNESBURG -The driver of a vehicle that collided with that of Top Billing presenter Simba Mhere will be charged with culpable homicide, reckless and negligent driving.
Johannesburg Metro Police Department spokesperson Edna Mamonyane told eNCA.com that Simba died when a VW Polo collided with a car he was travelling in.
"The VW Polo off-ramped from the N1 over to the middle island and collided with Simba's car. He died on impact."
Mamonyane said a friend of Simba also died while another was taken to hospital.
Simba, whose full name was Simbarashe Mhere, died on Saturday morning on William Nicol Road near the N1.

Mhere was on his way to the OR Tambo International airport to catch a flight to the J&B Met in Cape Town.
Simba won the Top Billing talent search competition in 2010.
