ER24 Paramedics attended this accident scene.
ER24 is an Emergency Medical Service providing efficient, effective emergency response and pre-hospital care.
Six people were injured Saturday morning after a head-on collision between two light motor vehicles on Beyers Naude and Clinic Road in Muldersdrift.
ER24 paramedics, along with another private service, arrived on the scene and found both vehicles in the middle of the road.
On inspection, paramedics discovered that six people had been injured in the collision.
Assessment showed that two patients, a man and woman, had sustained serious injuries while the remaining four men had sustained moderate injuries.
Paramedics carefully extracted the two seriously injured patients, both found in their vehicles. Once extricate, paramedics treated the patients and provided the seriously injured patients with advanced life support interventions.
Once treated, the patients were transported to a private hospital in Johannesburg West for further attention.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
