At 20:01 EMER-G-MED's RV6, L01, A01 and A09 were dispatched to the scene.
Paramedics arrived on the scene just minutes later, finding a scene of utter chaos - with bystanders assisting the injured passengers out of the rolled bus. Paramedics immediately set up a triage area and began to assess the injured.
Fortunately only 41 of the bus' 70 plus occupants were found to have been injured in the collision, with four of them sustaining moderate to serious injuries.
The passengers were treated for their injuries on the scene before being transported by EMER-G-MED and various other ambulance services to a variety of nearby hospitals.
The cause of the collision is unclear, but it's believed that the bus was travelling to Cape Town, when it collided with another vehicle causing it to overturn. JMPD's Specialist Accident Investigation Units are on the scene to conduct a full investigation.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area until tomorrow morning!
