Critically injured motorist put on life support after High-Speed Crash on the N14 in Pretoria
In the early hours of Sunday morning EMER-G-MED paramedics responded to reports of a serious crash on the N14 North just after the N1 in the Brakfontein Interchange, Pretoria.
Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a vehicle had gone off the road, colliding with a pole at a high-speed.
The driver, and only occupant, sustained critical injuries, including: multiple fractures, a serious chest injury and severe head trauma.
He required immediate Advanced Life Support intervention.
The critically injured man was intubated and placed on a ventilator before being rushed to a nearby specialist trauma facility for further care.
