Two bodies have been brought to surface from a disused mine at Langlaagte in Johannesburg his evening. The accident happened on Tuesday after the gas spilled whilst the miners were underground.
For the past week rescue operations were underway but the authorities called it off leaving the zama-zamas with no option but carry the operations to remove the bodies of their fellows.
The bodies were brought to surface without the help from the authorities, not even the Zimbabwean embassy.
Talking to the journalist this evening the chairman of the Zimbabwean Community in South Africa Mr Nqabuto Mabena slammed the Mineral Resources Minister Mosebenzi Zwane for coming to the accident site to address the media.
All Zimbabweans who were in the mine on Tuesday have been accounted for and are on the surface.
