ER24 is an Emergency Medical Service providing efficient, effective emergency response and pre-hospital care.
A man believed to be in his 50’s sadly died in a collision between three vehicles on Helen Suzman Boulevard in Cape Town earlier today.
It is understood that traffic officials who attended to the incident found the man in a light delivery vehicle that was involved in the collision. His vital signs had deteriorated. They tried to assist by initiating CPR.
Upon arrival at the scene, ER24 paramedics took over CPR. Sadly there was nothing that could be done for the man. He was declared dead.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown. It is suspected that the man may have died following a medical-related condition. An autopsy will determine the exact cause of death.
All other people involved in the incident refused hospital treatment.
Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
