ER24 is an Emergency Medical Service providing efficient, effective emergency response and pre-hospital care.
Twenty-two people were injured this evening when two buses collided with each other on the R36 in Segopo Village outside Tzaneen.
Shortly before 7pm paramedics from ER24 and Provincial Emergency Services arrived on the scene where they found two buses on the side of the road. Twenty-two people complained of minor injuries.
They were all assessed on the scene and later transported by various ambulances to Kgapane Provincial Hospital.
It is understood that the buses were on their way back from a rally in Polokwane when the collision occurred. According to bystanders on the scene, the bus allegedly could not stop and collided into the back of a bus traveling in front of it.
The exact cause is not yet known.
